You can play with a real band and a singer. The default setting is the Band mode without a singer.
You can turn the vocal on or by switching to the +Vocal mode which shows up on the top of the screen once opening a song. While playing songs, you can pause the song by tapping on the screen and turn off the Vocal by switching back to the Band mode again or the practice and click modes.
Your recent setting on the Vocal option will be kept for the next songs unless you change it again.
At this moment, you can also find all of the module songs with Practice mode: simplified backing tracks with a simple melody, guitar strumming and drum in the song player.
Furthermore, you can change the speed of the song playing by scrolling up or down on the screen or on the right-side tempo bar.
You can also seek a different section of the song by scrolling left or right on the screen or on the bottom timeline.
