The website and the app work with separate systems. The most significant difference between the app and the course website is the interactive format and the SONGS:
- For the app, Justin has hand-picked songs for each stage of the learning path that you will be able to practise and play along with the app. The app is subscription-based (we need to pay the copyright fees for the songs, etc.)
The app has over 1000 songs with adjustable backing tracks, lyrics and chords which make practising the new skills more fun and effective. All the Modules have a hand-picked selection of songs so that you can practice the new skills. The songs are carefully chosen so that they match your skill level.
You can try the app (with free access to Grades 1, 2 and 3 and full access to the songs in the song catalogue) for 7 days after joining with the free trial, so we suggest you give it a try! After the 7 trial period, you can still access some early learning content but you will only have 30 seconds of preview access to the songs.
- On the website, there is a wealth of free content so it's well worth you having a look. Most of the materials you can see at the link below are free to access on the website:

You can watch the tutorial videos for free and even open your user profile to make your daily practices. Donations are on the website only. If you use the website only - you can just donate a bit, if you wish :)
There are some paid courses on the website that carry an additional charge and of course, the new Tabs facility, all of which you can find out more about using the links below:

So you can choose whether you just take the course on the website, or practice with songs with the app. Progress is often much faster with the app, as you practise more and in a fun way with the app.
