How to give the Kala Ukulele app permission to use the microphone?

You can follow these steps to give permission to use your device's microphone:

1. On your device, open the Settings app.
2. Go to Apps (Default apps, Permission manager)
3. Find Kala - Permissions - Microphone
4. Tap "Microphone" to allow access to the app

Please note that if you do not see this within the settings app on your device you will need to uninstall/reinstall the app and grant permission upon reopening.
